Aja Lenae Workshop

Workshops & Consulting

Our relationship to change informs our willingness to confront the feelings of shame, grief, frustration, confusion, denial and anger that can arise when we name our experiences of oppression and privilege. As a facilitator, I seek to collaborate with participants to nurture confidence and tools for engaging with the destabilizing energy of deep personal and social transformation.

I bring over a decade’s experience facilitating interactive workshops, discussions, and trainings for adults and young people, as well as, supporting organizations developing more authentic cultures of equity. My work spans the intersections of anti-racism, Black liberation, Queer and Trans liberation, mental health, body positivity, equity in higher education and visual/performance arts.

holistic lens to reimagine perspectives.

Youth Collaboration.

I believe in the creative, political, intellectual, and spiritual alchemy of young people in shaping worlds both internally and externally. I began my facilitator journey as a peer educator and organizer in my teens. My approach seeks to honor the legacy of those adult accomplices whose mentorship and affirmations of my intuitive and inherited power nurtured me into being.

My holistic approach is rooted in expressive arts, therapeutic, and transformative justice practices that center the intersectional lived experiences of marginalized young people. My goal is for young people to experience active participation in cultivating safe, affirming spaces to feel, explore and dream their paths towards empowerment.
